INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

PURPOSE

The main goal is to provide you with a quality learning experience. In turn, our interns will lend their expertise in various fields to our mission. As an intern at WadzPay, you will:

  • Expand your work experience with meaningful assignments and projects.
  • Develop your existing skills and learn new ones that will be useful for your career.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

We accept applications that meet the following criteria:

  • You are currently pursuing a recognised educational programme in a field related to WadPay’s activities, leading to a formal undergraduate or post-graduate qualification or degree; or
  • You have completed your qualification or degree within a twelve-month period at the time of application;
  • You are fluent in English, WadzPay’s working language.
  • You have not previously participated in an internship at WadzPay.
  • You are not related to a WadzPay employee.

WadzPay recruits interns based on the needs of our various departments. If you are interested in interning with us, please visit our vacancies page, where the internship opportunities are advertised. Please mention your date of availability on your CV. The application process is simpler and faster than for our permanent roles; it involves an application, an interview, and other steps.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What is the duration of the internship?

    Our internships are offered for a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum of 3 months.

  • Are internships available on a part-time basis?

    Interns are expected to work full-time. The working hours are normally from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch break included.

  • Am I entitled to a paid holiday?

    Interns are entitled to one paid day off per month.

  • Do I need to speak any other languages during my internship?

    The official working language at WadzPay is English. However, additional languages can be particularly useful within some teams.

  • Does WadzPay accept internship applications from international students?

    In Singapore or any other nation, we are able to hire international students who study in the US and already have an H-1 visa.

  • Is the internship paid?

    Interns who are not sponsored by their university qualify for a fixed WadzPay stipend intended to cover the cost of basic living expenses during the internship. Interns are responsible for finding their own accommodation and will need to cover the full cost of travel to work etc.

  • Can I apply at any time of the year?

    The need for interns by different teams arises all year long; therefore, the best way to keep yourself updated is to regularly visit our vacancies page.

  • Is there a dress code at the WadzPay offices?

    The dress code is business casual.

  • Does WadzPay hire interns into full-time positions?

    Interns are eligible to apply for advertised positions following the end of their internship.
