Vice President – Sales
WadzPay is an interoperable and agnostic blockchain-based payments technology provider available as a SAAS platform. We aim To become synonymous with Digital asset-based payments globally including CBDC, Tokenization and Cross-Border Remittance and optimize the potential for - Digital Assets towards a revolution in the payments industry by enabling faster payments, improvements in security, and cost efficiency with optionality.
We have a complete product suite and aim for Engineering tomorrow’s digital asset-based payment solutions with our deep expertise. We are working with the leaders in Payments, Banking, and Processing to build the interoperability layer for the new world of digital currencies. Instead of replacing existing systems, we supplement them. We are creating a world where payments are no longer limited by currencies or payments networks: soon everyone will be able to pay anyone, anywhere in any digital or traditional currency.
We are a truly global company with offices and teams across the world from Singapore our HQ and Southeast Asia to India, Middle east, Africa and US.
The above-mentioned positions will report into President Japan Asia Pacific Australia. The incumbent will be part of the JAPA team.
The incumbent will work to promote and execute our sales strategy to meet and exceed sales revenue and contribute to the overall profitability of the company. He /she will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities, Building a pipeline, Identifying potential clients and partners, Identifying alliance opportunities, designing effective sales strategies, and marketing company products and services which include our technology solutions. This will be an individual contributor role to begin with and as the Market develops, we will evaluate to add the team as required.
Salary: As per industry standard which will be commensurate with experience
- Developing and executing sales strategies: You will need to work closely with the President JAPA and other executives to develop a sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives. This might involve conducting market research, identifying target customers, alliance partners and determining the most effective sales channels.
- Driving revenue growth: Your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth for the company. You will need to develop and execute a sales plan that focuses on acquiring new customers, retaining existing customers, and expanding into various product categories.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers: - You will need to build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners. This will involve networking, attending industry events, and developing a deep understanding of customer needs and opportunities for WadzPay to partner.
- Analyzing sales data and metrics: You will need to analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. This might involve using data analytics tools and software to track sales performance, forecast future sales, and measure the effectiveness of sales strategies.
- Collaborating with other departments: You will need to collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure that sales strategies are aligned with the overall business strategy and customer needs.
- Staying up to date with industry trends: You will need to stay up to date with industry trends and changes in the market to ensure that the company's sales strategies remain relevant and effective.
- Define and manage the sales pipeline, forecasting and reporting to ensure accurate revenue forecasting. Creating sales reports and providing feedback to the leadership team
- Establish and track measurable goals for monitoring product growth against each campaign/initiative within the Countries including Go to Market collateral aligned to agreed initiatives (Awareness, Collateral, Demand Generation)
- Provide regular reports against agreed metrics for product domain and Sales initiative in the zone, showing progress against strategy, risks, challenges and resulting agreed actions to deliver plan.
- Outlining and managing sales budgets and building an execution plan.
- 12+ years of experience in sales, with a track record of achieving revenue targets and building successful sales teams in a technology product company.
- Strong working knowledge of Payment services / products, competitive products in the market with strong business acumen to understanding of financials, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, build and manage a high-performing sales team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sales processes and methodologies, and the ability to implement best practices with the ability to identify business opportunity, tenacity to follow through to drive company success.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with other departmental leaders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.
- Prior minimum 5 years’ experience in a technology solution sales, banking or payments preferred with in-depth knowledge of payment services in the financial industry.
- He/She is conditioned to the FinTech market ecosystem with good competitive products knowledge and an excellent customer service accountability.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in selling to senior (C-level) leadership roles will be advantageous.
